If you’re between beginner and intermediate in RC planes, the XK A300 Beech D17S is a smart choice. The 3D/6G gyro stabilization allows beginners to fly confidently, then you can switch mode later to practise loops and rolls. My first few flights were easy and fun; now I’m pushing performance. Love it.

I didn’t expect so much for the price with the XK A300 Beech D17S—but it delivered. The EPP foam body is sturdy, the 1806 brushless motor gives plenty of punch, and the LED lights add a fun touch for evening flying. It’s responsive enough for aerobatics yet stable enough for casual flying. A great pick.

What stood out to me about the XK A300 Beech D17S is the attention to detail: the biplane layout, the WWII-style finish, and the fact it comes RTF (Ready To Fly) are big pluses. The installer in me loved how quickly everything snapped together. Flight time is about 8 minutes per charge, which is decent for its size. Overall I’m very pleased.

The build felt solid right out of the box, and the brushless motor paired with the gyroscopic 6-axis system made take-offs and landings smooth. After one flight I felt confident enough to try a few loops and rolls. Highly recommended.
