Summary
The Teching DM119 Turbofan Engine Kit is a premium, realistic, all-metal DIY turbine engine model. Perfect for educational purposes, hobbyists, and collectors, it combines authentic mechanical principles, STEAM learning value, and hands-on assembly. With motor-driven fans, visible internal components, sound simulation, and future upgrade potential, it addresses enthusiasts’ most requested features while remaining safe and display-ready.
I noticed in one video where the drive gear can be disengaged with the spring/arm mechanism on the primary gear box. Are these parts available to convert my model to this set-up?
Although I’m very much looking forward to receiving and assembling this kit, when I watched the videos, I was a bit disappointed with the repeating loop of the engine startup sound effects feature. Because this is such a high-class model, I would have thought that a chip with a higher memory storage capacity would have been selected, and that following the startup sound sequence, the sound of engine power increases and decreases would have been included and coordinated with the advancing and retarding of the model’s throttle lever. Additionally, as was shown in a video by one of your customers, red/orange LEDs illuminating the combustion chamber would be a great future addition or aftermarket option for this model. Thanks for your consideration.
