Eight cylinders fire in sequence to give the deep, uneven burble of a classic V8, not the buzz of a single-cylinder model.
This one burns real gasoline. Pistons, crankshaft and valves all move under the engine's own power.
You build it part by part: crankshaft, eight pistons, camshaft and OHV valve train. When it fires up, you understand every part of it.
The complete set includes the base, ignition, fuel system, water cooling and battery, all made to fit this engine. Nothing extra to hunt for.
Dual water cooling with a radiator and fan keeps the engine at a steady temperature, so you can enjoy longer runs.
The red V8 on its display base looks stunning on a desk or shelf, whether it is running or not.

Fuel: the engine is lubricated by its fuel. Mix 92# or higher gasoline with 2-stroke oil at a 25:1 ratio. No separate engine oil is needed.
Cooling: the engine has 4 coolant ports. Connect all of them to the cooling system as shown in the manual. Do not seal any ports, as this reduces cooling and can cause overheating.
