Based on internal testing and returned units, Manual Mode itself is not unsafe and does not increase the likelihood of hardware failure. All brushless motors generate heat, and switching to Manual Mode does not cause additional risk. Most reported issues happen when pilots switch to Manual Mode without altitude hold, which can feel like a sudden “loss of control,” but this is due to control-input overload rather than a mechanical fault. The tail-motor issue seen in the single reported case would have occurred in GPS Mode as well, so Manual Mode is not the root cause. For beginners, we recommend using GPS/altitude-hold modes until you are confident with manual controls.

No additional balancing or mechanical adjustments are needed before flight. Before leaving the factory, each helicopter has already undergone blade weight matching, mechanical neutral setup, and flight controller calibration. All you need to do is follow the instruction manual to complete GPS calibration and compass calibration, and the helicopter will be ready to fly safely.
