Great demo of thermal to mechanical power on a table top. Just add hot coffee or tea to a cup.
Once I got it put together correctly (the clip-on motor arms are a bit tricky), it was an instant performer with my cup of tea.. Satisfied with this wonder engine. Wish I fully understood exactly how it worked. Documentation? Hmm.. Not really.
I bought this as a gift for my little boy (56 yrs old). He and his mechanically minded friends love it. He said it took about 2 seconds to put together.
People like seeing this engine whirring away on my hot tea cups. It's fun to watch.
We have several Sterling engines and they run on the fuel with an open flame this one runs on heat from hot water in a cup. We were really surprised how cool it is. He says it's his favorite one but he always says that about the newest one.
