OKMO Lister D (Standard edition and Chain-Drive edition)

With four unique variants, these models offer both mechanical accuracy and collectible appeal for hobbyists and engineers alike.

The OKMO Lister D: A Classic Engine Reimagined

While the B02 looks to the future, the Lister D celebrates a legendary engineering heritage.

RA Lister & Company was founded in 1867 by Sir Robert Ashton Lister in Gloucestershire, England. Initially producing agricultural machinery, the company became famous in the early 20th century for its stationary engines.

The iconic Lister D engine:

Produced between 1926 and 1964, with over 250,000 units built.

Powered tasks like water pumping, electricity generation, and shearing, with 1.5 horsepower at 700 rpm.

Remains one of the most common vintage stationary engines in the UK.

Even after production ceased in the UK in 1987, Indian manufacturers continued building “Listeroids” based on the original CS design, which are now popular for off-grid applications, thanks to their durability, versatility, and multi-fuel capability.

By bringing the OKMO Lister D to Stirlingkit customers, we are offering a piece of this engineering legacy in a miniature, collectible form.
