Why it is so hard to restockWe know waiting is frustrating, and we are sorry to everyone who missed the last batch. TOYAN does not make this engine all year round. A new production run can only start once enough orders are collected to meet the factory's minimum order quantity (MOQ). After that, every part still needs 3 to 6 months to be machined, inspected and test-run. We would rather wait than ship an engine that has not been properly tested.
Missing this batch can mean waiting 3 to 6 months or longer. If you have been waiting for one, don't miss it this time.

Four cylinders. Four strokes. Real gasoline. The TOYAN FS-L400BGC is a true working inline-four that you build with your own hands, and it brings the sound and feel of a real four-cylinder engine within reach of every hobbyist.
What Makes It Special
Most running model engines in this price range have one or two cylinders. The FS-L400BGC has four pistons firing in turn, so you get the smooth, layered sound of a real inline-four.
You build it part by part: crankshaft, pistons, overhead camshaft, valves and timing pulleys. When it starts, you know exactly how every part works together.
This version runs on regular 92# gasoline from any gas station, with CDI spark ignition and electric start. No glow plugs or special fuel to order.
A crankshaft-driven water pump circulates coolant through the block, keeping the engine at a steady temperature while it runs.
Run it on your desk, or install it in an RC car and drive with a real four-cylinder engine.

From a Box of Parts to a Running Engine
It starts as a box of precision parts on your workbench. Piece by piece, you fit the crankshaft, slide in four pistons, set the camshaft and line up the timing. Then comes the day you add fuel and press the button. The engine you built with your own hands coughs, catches and settles into a steady four-cylinder idle, and you will remember that sound for a long time.

Before You Build
The piston rings are already fitted in the block by our team, so they are not missing.
Fill the cooling system with about 180ml of distilled water before running, and grease the camshaft regularly.
