Over the past two years, the RETROL team has launched the SE-01 and SE-02 models, both highly acclaimed by model enthusiasts and engineering hobbyists worldwide. Now, just in time for this Christmas season, RETROL proudly presents its latest masterpiece — the SE-03 Mill Steam Engine and Boiler Kit.
Inspired by the golden age of industrial engineering, the SE-03 combines precision mechanics with the artistic beauty of steam technology. The newly launched GF-01 Mini Workshop Scene Model can be linked with the SE-03 (compatible with SE-01/02 and other steam engine models).
The workshop adopts a retro-style frame with a brass lamp stand and an overhead shaft drive pulley system, with all equipment integrated onto a black iron base.
The entire system uses an overhead shaft transmission design: power output from the steam engine is delivered to the main overhead pulley, which then drives belts that distribute power to multiple miniature machines—such as a drill press and grinding wheel—accurately recreating an authentic industrial power-transmission setup.
The drill press is fully functional and capable of drilling tiny holes. The brass lamp standsupports dual-power modes: it can be powered by the steam-engine-driven generator or by an AA battery (not included). A vintage-style switch controls the lamp’s on/off function.

⚠️ Important Notice｜GF-01 Workshop Steering Rod Installation

• The steering rod comes pre-installed at the factory and is properly positioned. Under normal circumstances, no excessive tightening is required.

• When installing or adjusting the steering wheel, slowly tighten by hand until it feels secure, without forcing it with extra tools or excessive torque.

• Over-tightening can cause the rod threads to break, especially if the steering wheel is already in place.
