Our first prototypes were 3D-printed in PLA. They proved the fit, but not the finish we wanted. So before a single set shipped, we upgraded the Couple Set to resin masters, production molds and full painting, at no extra cost to anyone who pre-ordered.

When will my Couple Set ship?
Current orders are expected to ship in mid-November. Production takes about 10–15 days once the molds are ready, and you can follow each step in the Production Progress tracker on this page. You will receive a tracking number by email as soon as your order leaves our warehouse.
I pre-ordered earlier. Which version will I receive?
Every Couple Set order, including all pre-orders placed so far, ships as the molded, fully painted resin version shown on this page, at no extra cost.
Do the figures come with the TECHING DM229 model?
No. This listing is for the Lady & Gentleman figures only. The TECHING DM229 1886 model kit is sold separately.
Do the figures' feet touch the floorboard?
Their feet rest just above the floorboard. The DM229's bench is compact: figures large enough to reach the floor would need to be about twice the size, and then only one would fit on the seat. To keep two passengers side by side with natural, true-to-life proportions, the designer chose the current scale.
Will the figures fit other models?
They are designed specifically for the seat of the TECHING DM229.
Does the Couple Set come in a gift box?
Yes. Each Multi-Color Couple Set ships in a gift box, with foam padding inside to hold the figures securely in transit. It is ready to give as a present.
Can I share the 3D file or sell the figures I print?
No. The file is designed and authorized by Scale Addiction and licensed for personal use only. You may print, paint, display and gift the figures for personal use. Sharing or re-uploading the file, selling the file or any figures printed from it (painted or unpainted), and any other commercial use are not permitted.
How do I get my 3D file?
Once your payment is confirmed, you will receive a secure download link by email. As a digital product, the file is non-refundable once the link has been sent.
