I purchased the orange cison v8 and was very impressed with how it went together. I had planned on getting the flathead v8 but the item was sold out before I could purchase one. I did notice a green v8 was available so I chose to purchase that instead. The motor is the same but a totally different look with the green items. Very happy with both engines!
I bought my first one and I just love it even though I have never heard it run, I like it so much I turned around and bought another, I am just having some bad luck with my ignition but once I get that figured out I will be in good shape, he folks at stirlingkit are treating me right and helping me out with it and I am sure everything will be fine and I than k them very much for understanding.

Very reliable she starts easily every single time.
I changed out one o-ring in the carburetor while building the engine, and the carburetor has been pretty easy to tune.
I've built a 1/5 scale chassis and powered it first with the Howin Straight-six 210 engine and mated it with a Cison l4 transmission. The combination did well, the Howin l6 could drive the chassis in 3rd gear but it did struggle.
the Cison V8 engine is now installed into the same chassis using the same l4 transmission with the same gear ratio...the power is so insane!🤯 Now with the V8 installed she can easily do donuts in 3rd gear, and even 3rd gear burnouts😱 the torque is just massive.💪💪
I would say what a huge difference the Cison V8 44cc has made in my chassis with almost twice the power of the Howin l6-210.
The Cison V8 is my favorite V8 engine on the market I love the sound and the scale details and because of it's size it is much easier to install into smaller scale models.

As an RC car fan, I have some experience in assembling engine models. The assembly time of this CISON V8 engine is about 4-5 hours. Although it is not very simple, the instructions are very easy to understand and well illustrated, which can help me complete each step smoothly. During the assembly process, every detail is very attractive. After the final completion, it is not only a power-enhancing component for RC cars, but also a beautiful collection.
Although the assembly of this Cison V8 engine was a little challenging, it was easy to understand overall. Following the instructions step by step, I learned a lot about the principles of the engine and experienced the fun of making an engine myself. Now it is completed, and I feel a sense of accomplishment every time I see it on the table.
