Model engine kits are one of the most satisfying things you can build with your hands. But we know the assembly process isn't for everyone. Some of you are collectors who want the finished piece on the shelf. Some are buying as a gift. Some just want to skip straight to watching it run.
That's why we offer a Pre-Built & Tuned Engine Service — and today we want to give you a proper look at how it actually works.
What's on the bench right now
The engines in today's photos were all recently completed as pre-built orders: a matched pair of Toyan FS-V800 V8 engines, assembled side by side and run-tested together. Alongside them, two CISON builds — the CISON LS-52 inline-six and the CISON V8 Pro — both fully assembled and awaiting their owners.
These aren't studio shots. These are real builds, on a real workbench, going to real customers. That's the whole point.
How it works
Step 1 — Place your order
Select the Pre-Built option when purchasing, or contact us directly to add it to an existing order. We'll confirm availability and add you to the build queue.
Step 2 — Your engine enters the queue
Our technicians build each engine in order. Complex engines take time, and we don't rush. You'll be kept informed on your estimated timeline.
Step 3 — Assembly & run-testing
Every engine is fully assembled, calibrated, and run-tested. We check fuel delivery, ignition timing, idle stability, and overall operation before it leaves the bench.
Step 4 — Video confirmation before anything ships
Before your engine is packaged, we record a video of it running and send it directly to you. You watch it. You approve it. Then we pack it.
Step 5 — Packed & shipped
Once you've confirmed, your engine is carefully packaged and shipped worldwide with full tracking. It arrives ready to display or run.
A note for customers who are already waiting
If you've already placed a pre-built order — thank you for your patience.
Each engine is built and tested individually by hand, which means lead times are longer than a standard kit order. We will reach out to you personally before your engine ships — you'll receive a video of it running first, and we'll only pack and send it once you give us the green light.
We appreciate your trust. We're working through the queue as carefully as we can.
Why the video confirmation matters
A lot can happen between the bench and your doorstep. By confirming with you on video before we ship — not after — we make sure what you approved is exactly what arrives. If something doesn't look right in the video, we fix it first. No exceptions.
