RVE · 1/4.5 Scale · 700-Class
Big Enough to Turn Heads.
Accurate Enough to Fool a Pilot.
A 1.4-meter Robinson R22, scanned from the real aircraft, finished down to the rivets and powered by precision mechanics from a brand known for F3C competition helicopters. This is a scale helicopter that looks right on the ground and flies like serious machinery in the air.

Fly an R22 well, and you can fly anything.
That's what helicopter pilots say about the Robinson R22. In production since 1979, it is the trainer where countless pilots logged their first hours and made their first solo. Its light, responsive controls demand respect, which is exactly why those who master it never forget it.
The first helicopter many pilots ever flew. Now it's yours to keep.
Scanned From the Real Aircraft
The fuselage was 3D-modeled from scan and measurement data of a full-size R22, so the proportions and curves match the real helicopter rather than an artist's impression.
Detail Down to the Rivets
Four sizes of rivets are reproduced to scale, and even the smallest fuselage markings are recreated, with lettering as small as 1 mm. Door hinges and an external scale antenna are included in the kit.
An Open, True-to-Scale Cockpit
The motor and main frame are packed compactly beneath the rotor tower behind the cabin. No mechanics fill the cockpit and no cooling holes break the nose, so the cabin recreates the R22 interior the way it should look.
F3C-Grade Mechanics
RVE builds competition F3C helicopters, and the R22 shares that standard. Frame and mechanical parts are machined from 7075 aviation-grade aluminum alloy with the same precision and finish.
All-Metal Tail Drive
A 6 mm stainless steel shaft and 45° steel bevel gears run in an all-metal tail gearbox. The low-friction drivetrain is built for durability and reliable flight after flight.
Rotors That Turn the Right Way
The main rotor turns counterclockwise and the tail rotor matches the full-size R22's direction, a detail scale enthusiasts will notice the moment it spools up.
Fly From the Pilot's Seat
The roomy cockpit fits a camera and video transmitter for FPV flight, so you can see the world from inside the R22 cabin.
Hidden, Easy-Access Battery
The battery bay sits concealed in the lower middle of the cockpit and loads from the rear, keeping the scale look clean while making battery changes quick.
RTF: Unbox, Charge, Fly
Large scale helicopters usually mean weeks of sourcing electronics, building and tuning. The RTF version skips all of that. Every electronic component, including the H2 GPS flight controller, is installed at the factory, then set up and test-tuned before shipping. Charge the included battery, power on the FS-i6S transmitter, and use one-key takeoff to get in the air.
| Kits |
Fuselage and mechanical frame with full scale accessories. No electronics are included. You will need to supply your own motor, ESC, servos, flight controller, receiver, transmitter, battery and charger, then install, set up and tune everything yourself. Best for experienced builders who want to choose their own electronics. |
| RTF |
Ready to fly out of the box. Factory assembled with all electronics installed, including the H2 GPS flight controller, then set up and test-tuned. Supports one-key takeoff. Comes with an FS-i6S transmitter, battery and charger. Just charge the battery and fly. |
Please select Kits or RTF above before adding to cart. The Kits version contains no electronics (no motor, ESC, servos or flight controller). All electronics, the H2 GPS flight controller, battery, transmitter and charger are included only with the RTF version. This is a large, powerful model intended for experienced RC helicopter pilots aged 16 and over.
