Genuine replacement parts and upgrades for the RETROL G16 Horizontal Mill Engine. Choose the part you need from the options above.

Please note: the following parts are not available separately
  • Manual hand crank: discontinued by the manufacturer. G16 engines ordered from February 2026 come with an electric drill starter adapter instead.
  • Flywheel: not sold as a separate part.
  • Small fuel hose: not sold here, but easy to find locally. Any fuel-resistant hose with a 3 mm inner diameter and 5 mm outer diameter will fit.

Not sure which ignition part you need? Our RETROL G16 User Guide includes a quick CDI spark test video: if you see a spark, you only need the Hall sensor; if not, choose the CDI igniter assembly.

FAQ

How do I fit the welded steel gear upgrade?

The set replaces the side drive rod, gear and bearings as one unit. After fitting, adjust the gear clearance with the two adjusting screws so the gears turn freely with only a little play. Our G16 User Guide shows both steps with photos.

Does my G16 already have the steel gear?

Look at the gear on the side drive rod next to the crankshaft. A steel-colored gear welded to the rod means you already have the upgrade. A brass (gold-colored) gear means this upgrade will fit your engine.
