Stirlingkit did the questionnaire about the HOWIN L6 Gasoline engine on 11th August 2022. We have made progress in the project HOWIN Inline 6 Cylinder Four-stroke Gasoline RC Engine and this howin engine draft was settled and released. HOWIN received the feedback and the suggestions, the HOWIN team have been making efforts on the HOWIN L6 engine. This blog introduces how HOWIN L6 engine come into reality from the drafts below. Let's look forward to the final masterpiece of HOWIN L6 together.

The HOWIN L6 engine is designed as the gasoline engine with spark plugs while the L4 engine is the nitro one with glow plugs.

HOWIN team changed the position of the oil nozzle on the cylinder block and added some small parts. The gear structure can't be made so small, so the distributor can't be installed on the side.

The unoxidized prototype engine is coming out. We will upload the test video next week. More details are unveiled.
- The latest design lengthens the crankshaft and output shaft by 15mm, with full support, better DIY expansion space and modification application scenarios.
- Inspired by the classic Ford 300 engine, adding iconic elements to the design.
- Oil pan design with independent lubrication system.
