A surge in Covid-19 cases led Shenzhen, the biggest city in the manufacturing hub of Guangdong province, to lock down this week from March 14 to March 20, 2022. Shenzhen, a city of 17.5 million people, were being placed under “closed management,” meaning they would be locked down. Every resident would undergo three rounds of testing even they have showed a negative Covid test, for which they were allowed to leave their homes, and all buses and subways were suspended. All businesses not involved with essential public services MUST suspend production or have employees work from home starting Monday. The 1st round test has already finished on March 15, finding 100 new cases among Shenzheneses. 100 New COVID-19 patients have already transferred to local hospitals. we will do the 2nd round test from March 16 to March 17, the 3rd from March 18 to March 19. The good news is that all employees of our team have negative test.
