Fendt 1100 Vario MT

Let's see what others thoughts:

Jet2242: The fendt is as reliable as anything on the market. Proven reliable power train. Smooth ride. Starting in 16 or 17 challenger is supposedly dropping Massey for the fendt. I know they're all agco. I assume the red masseys will be red fendts but maybe not?

Algona: Seems agco( Fendt’s parent company ) dose not want build things for the long haul then drop them and leave you with something in the end you have a hard time getting parts for.

F Series

Let's see what others thoughts:

Onlyred: We have a 6850 Hi-Tec Twin Trac and really like. Have had it since new in 2002 with about 3000 hrs on it with no problems at all.

Tellarian: Valtra are the Volvos of the tractor world, understated, boring image but renowned for reliability. In the SW of the UK a lot of stock & mixed farms swear by them. One unit has clocked 33,000 hours in Euroland

MF 8700 S

Let's see what others thoughts:

Farmingbase: Massey Ferguson Tractors are good tractors. They are reliable, easy to maintain, and durable. While some models stand taller than others, they are a generally impressive addition to any farm inventory.

Gary W: I have MF 235 diesel still today and it still runs. Like most of its competitors, MF has been through some hard times and several buyouts, but is still alive and well.

 T7 HEAVY DUTY

Let's see what others thoughts:

Joe M: My opinion is yes they are a very good tractor. I have used them all my life. Between me and my brothers we have 5 tractors all NEW holland's. the newest one is 22 years old and the oldest is older than me at 55 years.

Eric N:  The older ones were. Whether the new ones are any good or not, I couldn't say. They aren't a particularly common brand in the US.At one time they were pretty popular in Europe. They were easy on fuel, the Perkins diesel was usually a pretty solid engine.

Challenger

Official website:  https://www.applylikeapro.com/

The company has a history of more than 50 years and all key components are developed, designed and produced by the company itself in more than 100 countries and regions. In Northern Europe, Vimeo tractors have the number one market share. In South America, Vimeo is the second best-selling brand, and in Europe and North America the company is also growing rapidly.

 MT900E SERIES

Let's see what others thoughts:

Tod:  There is less muffler to look at and the fuel tank is shaped so the drawbar is very easy to see so that is better than other brands. Poorer is that the door hinge is larger than I felt it needed to be and black over some of the glass door, I have gotten used to that.

Meskie:  Challenger Tractor looks like a beast! Farms around here don't have big enough fields to warrant them but they sure would be fun to run!

Ventrac

Official website: https://www.ventrac.com/

"Making life simpler" is what Ventrac is all about. The founding family spent nearly 25 years building farm equipment and other small tractors before Ventrac came along. Since the launch of the Ventrac brand, the Steiner family has been committed to making life easier through practical engineering, design ingenuity and good old-fashioned common sense.

4520 tractor

Let's see what others thoughts:

Tom Dickson: I have an articulated mini loader that is very maneuverable and although it has a bucket volume of only 0.14 cubic meters, it is great for landscaping and small jobs around the farm.

Messi A:  “The comfortable high-back seat is standard and better than most in this class.”

VTUFF-BILT

Offical Site : https://www.tuff-bilt.com/home.html

In 1974 Bud Thomas from Cumming, Georgia designed and built a tractor under the name THOMAS-BILT. In 1975 Mr Bobby Wallace from Cumming, Georgia took ownership of the company, changing the name to TRI-TRACTOR MANUFACTURING and the name of the tractor to TUFF-BILT. Tuff-bilt is made in the USA and is very user friendly. Its 2-3 point hitch reduces driving in the field and makes this tractor more efficient. Using only one gallon of fuel per hour and of superior quality, this tractor can be used away from the pump and out of the workshop. It is easy to service The design requires no special tools. Tuff truck is popular with farmers because of its long service life

Tuff-bilt Tractor  Model K18-44 –EFI.

Let's see what others thoughts:

Eric78s : The engine feels perky and responsive, probably due in part to the mechanical feel of the whole tractor, which given there is very little power lost through the transmission, even with only five hours on the clock, it felt like this little fire cracker was up out of the blocks and away.

AntonyQ:  If a farmer wants a reliable tractor, it won't cost too much to buy or maintain, while still being reliable and working properly. On the other hand some basic and simple operation and maintenance is also needed.

Power-trac

Offical Site : https://www.power-trac.com/hclass.htm

Power Tracs was founded in 1984 by an American family-owned company in southwest Virginia. In the beginning, Power Trac's management focused on building articulated heavy equipment for the mining industry. It wasn't until we realized the plant needed a small loader/tractor that the idea to design and build a tractor began, and the first Power Trac was born. Through years of advertising and trade shows, Power Trac has proven that heavy duty utility equipment can be turf friendly and offer great value.

Power Trac began selling equipment through representatives and dealers, then decided to sell through dealers alone, and in 1998, switched to direct sales. power Trac has been selling worldwide, primarily in the United States. It is an integrated production and sales company.

H Class  PT-180

Let's see what others thoughts:

CameronJ : The reason I bought him at the time three years ago was to get the forest relatively clear of honeysuckle and then be able to maintain my woods so that this doesn't happen again, and then this machine was used until now.

City farmer:  I don't think I can find a tractor that suits me better than this front configuration

TILMOR

Official website: https://www.tilmor.com/en-us/products

For TILMOR, people's health is important, so they felt the need to keep farming organic and built the business from a family organic farm. Tilmor 520 Series

Let's see what others thoughts:

Billy R : I have to think that the US market for a tractor like this is pretty limited. I think most of these folks are looking more at the international / third-world country markets for these. I know there's an emerging sector of American agriculture that is mostly on smaller farms so it will be interesting if those farmers will look at something that's a little more "unusual" than using 3PH implements.
Coal train: I think the tractor is great. Having mid mount implements is what I really like along with how the steering wheel shifts to the side and lights aiming straight down on the implement area.

KIOTI

Official website: https://www.kioti.com/

Since the first KIOTI tractor was introduced in 1986 in the U.S., KIOTI has been among the leading tractor brands in the U.S. In 1993, the company formed a subsidiary called Daedong-USA, Inc. and Kioti's headquarters were located in Wilson, NC. CS 2210

Let's see what others thoughts:

Ferd Thomas : I have had my Kioti DK 35 for around 11 years and 1650 hours . I've been real pleased with it. Its been a good, reliable tractor for me so.

Gavin : My CK20S is just a little over a year old and right at 100 hours, barely broke in.

I had one minor issue early on when a screw backed out of the loader joystick control. A drop of lock tight fixed that. Also the spade connector on the horn would vibrate off but a squeeze with some pliers solved that.

HIESSTON

Official website: https://www.kioti.com/

Hesston was established in 1947 by Lyle Yost and is headquartered in Hesston, Kansas, USA. The company manufactured agricultural equipment such as self-propelled sweepers and StakHand straw harvesters.

In 1977, Fiat purchased shares in Hesston and began importing Fiat tractors under the Hesston brand name. in 1991, the skid steer loader and hay implement parts of the business were acquired by AGCO, and tractor production ceased.

Let's see what others thoughts:

Allen23 : I was really enjoying our old HIESSTON tractor, really helps with loading and unloading stuff, it brings back my farming time....

Farmtbuilder : We picked one up a few years ago and it's been great for my wife. It has the hydraulic drive with the loader. The loader seems a little weak on the lift side, but that's a good thing because it's safer for her.

BOCAT

Official website: https://www.bobcat.com/la/en/index

Bobcat was established in 1947 as part of the Doosan Group in South Korea. It has two headquarters, one in North Dakota, USA, and the other in Dobrzyn, Czech Republic.

Earthforce S18

Let's see what others thoughts:

DK35jon  : I have owned had my tractor for 13 years now and 1855 hours so far. It has been an excellent tractor. Never any problems. I wouldn't hesitate to buy the same machine again.

Farmtbuilder : I bought this new in 2008 have 500 hrs on it and no problems worked long winters and a lot of other jobs, best tractor out there.

International Harvester Company

International Harvester Company (often abbreviated as IHC or IH, or simply International (colloq.)) is an American manufacturer of agricultural and construction equipment, automobiles, commercial trucks, lawn and garden products, household equipment, and more. It was formed in 1902 by the merger of the McMcCormick Harvester Company and the Deering Harvester Company, as well as three smaller manufacturers. The International Harvester Company is headquartered in Chicago, Illinois. has been an established name in the production of agricultural equipment, especially the innovative red tractors.

After years of financial and economic decline, International began selling off its separate equipment divisions, beginning with the sale of the construction division to Dresser Industries in 1982 In November 1984, IH finalized a deal with Tenneco to sell the farm equipment division to Tenneco's subsidiary CASE Corporation, a brand that continues to exist as CASE IH and is owned by Fiat.

Let's see what others thoughts:

American business history : International Harvester was known for building quality, durable products and an excellent dealer network. Nevertheless, after World War II, the company became content with the status quo and then went downhill.

Strauss: Tractor has good power for general needs. Had to repair PTO, fuel tank, injection pump. Hard starting when cold.

RK TRACTORS

Officail website: https://www.rktractors.com/

RK Tractors was founded in 1960 by Alex Melvin and is based in the United States. Their tractors are manufactured by TYM in Korea and distributed in the USA by Rural King, an industry leading manufacturer of small tractors. Having worked with most of the major tractor brands over the years, offering different agricultural machinery services, they then created their own agricultural equipment. The first RK tractors, 19 hp and 24 hp subcompact tractors, gained popularity with small farming families in need. The company is committed to offering high-end products at very low prices and offers a long-term warranty on its products for up to 5 years. Mainstream tractors.

RK 370S

Let's see what others thoughts:

Jason : Love this little diesel. It is a great tractor. The high and low gear shifts work smoothly and all the gears shift the way I want them to. It shifts easily and feels solid and strong.

Brian G: Tractor has good power for general needs. Had to repair PTO, fuel tank, injection pump. Hard starting when cold.

Forderson

The Forson Dexta, Major, Super Dexta and Super Major models were popular tractors of their time and still retain their appeal today. the origins of the Fordson line began in the late 19th century. In 1903, Henry Ford founded the Ford Motor Company and by 1907 had developed the "automobile plow". By the early 1910s, there was a need for small, inexpensive tractors in North America and Europe - Ford's Model T was an immediate success with its reliable design and affordable price. The Fordson was not revolutionary, but rather the first tractor to combine small size, light weight and maneuverability frames with affordability. These factors made it possible for the average farmer to own a tractor for the first time. fordson tractors were put into mass production in 1917. The Fordson was the first tractor that cost less to maintain than a horse.

Let's see what others thoughts:

Tony: "These days, I have a growing tendency to over-restore my machines and I always start with the engine to check it. A little smoke at startup is perfectly acceptable, but once the engine warms up, this should reduce to nothing. "

Simon: I'm sure most of them are not easy to find, indicating the bottom of the parts availability. Clutch plates are not hard to find, but other parts may be difficult.”

Minneapolis-Moline

Minneapolis-Moline was formed by the merger of Minneapolis Steel and Machinery, the Minneapolis Threshing Machine Company, and the Moline Plow Company in 1929.

In the late 1930s, Minneapolis-Moline introduced the UDLX model Comfotractor. the company was known for pioneering the high-speed gearbox and equipping the tractor with a complete cab with heater and radio, at least a generation ahead of its time in terms of operating comfort.

Let's see what others thoughts:

Jaimen: “For a beginner driver, it’s a good tractor, because there’s not enough power in first gear when you’re operating the clutch for it to jerk,” he says. “It’s a really simple tractor, which I like. No magic. No computer or anything like that. It just needs gas, oxygen and a spark, and in theory with those three things, it should run.”

Mike:“I like the older Molines because of the Prairie Gold color,” Ed says. “Anything older than 1959 has that deep dark yellow, but anything after that gets Prairie Gold II, which I call ‘school bus yellow,’ and I just don’t care for that color.”

Oliver

Oliver's history begins when Hart-Parr began building tractors, the company's tractors painted green, with red wheels and white lettering. After merging with Oliver Chilled Plow Works in South Bend, Indiana; the initial letters were simply "Hart-Parr", but the name "Oliver" was gradually included in lowercase letters. Over time, the "Oliver" name grew larger and larger until 1935, when the famous Oliver 70 was introduced.

The introduction of the Oliver 70 was a watershed moment for the tractor industry. It reflected the improving economic situation and the increased influence of the automobile on tractor design. Its shape began to resemble that of a car, with a multi-cylinder engine and a radiator grille covering the radiator, which had become a modern style icon. All of this influenced the design of the Oliver 70.

Let's see what others thoughts:

Gerald: They were innovative but bought out and submerged after a few such buyouts. They weren't a big company so were somewhat limited in production. I expect finances severely limited their expansion. I always wanted one when I was little.

Chunkle:  We have around 7 Olivers still in regular feed wagon, mowing, hay cutting and auger use on our farm.  I've never thought they were poor quality, nor have I ever heard anyone say that. Although they did give you troubles if you turned up the horsepower.

Waterloo boy tractor

Waterloo Gasoline Engine, based in Waterloo, Iowa, was the first company to manufacture and sell gasoline-powered farm tractors, founded in 1893 by John Froelich and a group of businessmen and originally named the Waterloo Gasoline Traction Engine Company.

In 1892, John Froelich invented the first practical gasoline powered tractor but the tractor was not commercially successful and only two of the four tractors were purchased and later returned to the company by unhappy customers. The company was then sold to John W. Miller and renamed the Waterloo Gasoline Engine Company.

Miller decided to stop making tractors and instead focused on building regular gasoline engines.

Let's see what others thoughts:

“Icon of Agriculture”------ National Museum of American History

“The "Waterloo Boy" is considered the alpha of the entire John Deere Tractor line as we know it today.” --------Johnny
