My first few tanks were from global rc… despite buying the PRO- they ‘forgot’ the steel transmission and nylon strips out in an hour from outdoor use. So I switched to stirling and everything was as it should be. I own several Heng long tanks and prefer plastic as it does not rust and paints easier, just with an all steel power train. The Sherman design? Similar to the real thing requires much less maintenance. Oddly? Like the real tank- is a basic but effective tracks and I rarely throw them. The tiger, tends to throw tracks and the complicated wheel set up tends to grab rocks and things. The king tiger does not do this, all in all, the Sherman is the most reliable maintenance free tank I have. I always upgrade to steel transmission and put blue can motors in it, and I use TARR unit smokers as Heng long doesn’t smoke reliably in any tank. But we’ll worth the money.
