The Retrol Steam Beam engine from Stirlingkit not only looks good but it runs great as well.
At first i was dubious as to the quality/feel of the kit, However, The quality of machining of this engine is second to none. the fit/finish is perfect.
Overall i think this engine equals, if not exceeds the quality of a model from Wilesco/Mamod and similar manufactures, But at half the price!!!.
It really is a no brainer, GET IT BOUGHT
Assembly was pretty straigthforward, but no matter what way I tweak anything that is adjustable on the boiler, it never starts running under its own power. StirlingKit support sent a video to help troubleshoot / offer suggestions after I sent a video of how mine wasn't working, but I'm still stuck at square one.
