Four Stroke Cycle Engines. A four-stroke cycle engine is an internal combustion engine that utilizes four distinct piston strokes (intake, compression, power, and exhaust) to complete one operating cycle. The piston make two complete passes in the cylinder to complete one operating cycle.
Intake stroke:The piston moves downward to the bottom, this increases thevolumeto allow a fuel-air mixture to enter the chamber.
Compression stroke:The intake valve is closed, and the piston moves up the chamber to the top. This compresses the fuel-air mixture. At the end of this stroke, a spark plug provides the compressed fuel with the activation energy required to begin combustion.
Power Stroke:As the fuel reaches the end of it’s combustion, the heat released from combusting hydrocarbons increases thepressurewhich causes the gas to push down on the piston and create the power output.
Exhaust stroke:As the piston reaches the bottom, the exhaust valve opens. The remaining exhaust gas is pushed out by the piston as it moves back upwards.
What are four stroke engines used for?
The four-stroke engine is the most common types of internal combustion engines and is used in various automobiles (that specifically use gasoline as fuel) like cars, trucks, and some motorbikes
Why is 4 stroke engine better?
Two-stroke engines don't live as long as four-stroke engines. The lack of a dedicated lubrication system means that the parts of a two-stroke engine wear-out faster. Two-stroke engines require a mix of oil in with the gas to lubricate the crankshaft, connecting rod and cylinder walls.
.Small and powerful. It weighs 380g, and requires a 7.4v or 11.1v battery to start the battery. The battery needs a T plug, the female end is on the engine side, and the electric fire head is needed. The electric fire head is a general-purpose product, which can be used in our shop or in other stores.
.Working Principle: Using methanol as fuel. The process of moving from one end of the cylinder to the other when the piston reciprocates within the cylinder is called a stroke .The four-stroke engine is divided into an intake stroke, a compression stroke, a power stroke and an exhaust stroke
.Applicable People: 14 years old or older .The product is suitable for 1:10, 1:12, 1:14 scale model cars or model ships and other equipment, also can be used for classroom display, as teaching AIDS
.Notes: Please use it carefully during operation. Do not touch the motor fan with your hands to avoid scratching. Do not touch the cylinder department with your hands to prevent burns.

I bought this to fit into an electric crawler. I ran 3 tanks of fuel through it while on a test stand and was surprised at how well it ran. Unfortunately the first time I started it after installing the new flywheel and clutch bell the crankshaft snapped between the clutch and flywheel.

I bought one to do a off road truck build for my youtube channel, total scale detail easy starting stable idle the best of the best with this engine, they also have clutch flywheels and 2 speed clutch bells. if you want to see how good it fits and runs check out the link https://youtu.be/heFrmAABWEU
