simply the best twin

I received my engine as promised,it was packed very securely and arrived undamaged. It is very similar to the L-200 which is a brilliant twin engine. The NR200 is very compact and in its Blue livery is beautiful, it started first swing and is very smooth runner and fairly quiet in operation, The water cooling is very efficient, there are no provisions for fitting fan blades so fan assistance is required for the radiator,I use old computer cooling fans that work very well. The NR200 came direct from Stirlingkit and was factory set up to run perfectly. It is now going through the break in period so up to now has not been revved very high, looked after correctly this ittle power houuse will reward you with years of service,I love it,my favourite engine. You can buy this engine with confidence.

A great little engine.

This is a great little engine it looks cool & sounds really good, the only thing I can fault is that it only takes short reach glow plugs and that point isn't mentioned anywhere, the standard long reach plug is a bit too long & the pistons will strike them causing damage to the pistons, if you can't get short reach plugs try using two copper sealing washers, this should work until you get the correct plugs, apart from that all is good.

NR 200 engine

Just got a new NR 200 engine in the mail. Came in a nice box, with mounting bolts and a manual.
I have not started it yet , but it looks really good. Wery nice machined finish, and anodised parts in various colours.
My engine is blue with gold/yellow . Whish they included connectors for the starter wires.
I will mount the engine in a boat, and it would be nice with some attachment screw holes in the engine block on the side, now the only fastning are in the bottom pan. You need short glow plugs with the NR200 the OS four stroke will not work. The waterpump looks really good, and has a strong belt adjustment. My carb points up, I think you can flip the manifold if you want it down.
Really looking forward to start this one, think it will run nice.
Whish the makers of these engines focus more on nice slow running, not so much on wery high rpm on an unloaded engine, as they will be mostly used in cars and boats.
