CISON V8 Intake Valve Oil Seal Orientation
When assembling the CISON V8 engine, one question that frequently comes up in the community is the correct orientation of the intake valve oil seals.
Although this topic has been discussed many times in forums, Facebook groups, and YouTube videos, there are still different opinions about the correct installation method.
Some builders install the oil seal with the groove facing downward, while others believe the groove should face upward for better sealing performance.
What the CISON V8 Manual Shows
According to the installation diagram in the CISON V8 Pro manual, the oil seal orientation is shown with the groove facing downward.
The engineers confirmed that the diagram in the manual is correct, and installing the seal in this orientation is completely acceptable.
This method is also the easiest installation method, especially for most builders during assembly.
