Now imagine holding one of those engines in your hands, building it piece by piece, and making it run yourself. That’s the CISON LS-52 — a 1/5 scale, fully functional V8 kit that captures the spirit, engineering, and iconic design of those classic American V8s.

Build It Yourself — Every Piece, Every Detail

The LS-52 isn’t a display model. It’s a complete 1/5 scale V8 kit. Crankshaft, pistons, connecting rods, valve train, water-cooled heads — every component comes in pieces for you to assemble. Following the included manual, you’ll not only construct a miniature V8, you’ll learn exactly how one works. And when it fires up for the first time? That’s the sound of your engine running, because you brought it to life.

Authentic LS-Inspired Design

From the top-mounted black intake manifold to the red cylinder block and stainless steel headers, the LS-52 mirrors the architecture of the real LS small-block V8. Every proportion, every curve, every functional detail was carefully reproduced. Anyone familiar with LS engines will recognize it instantly — without us needing to name the car it came from.

Pushrod Doesn’t Mean Slow
The classic pushrod OHV valvetrain spins up to 12,500rpm with pressure-fed lubrication and MCU digital ignition. High revs, smooth operation, and real performance — proving that a pushrod design can be fast and reliable.

MCU Digital Ignition — First Time in a CISON Engine
The LS-52 is the first CISON V8 engine to feature MCU digital ignition. Unlike traditional mechanical distributors, which follow a fixed curve and can lag at high RPMs, the microcontroller constantly monitors the engine and fires each cylinder at the exact optimal moment — thousands of times per minute. Most model engines, and even previous CISON V8s, stick to distributors because adding sensors, electronics, and tuning a tiny high-rev engine is complex and costly. By using MCU ignition, the LS-52 delivers smoother, more stable high-speed performance, cleaner combustion, and the kind of responsiveness you wouldn’t expect from a pushrod engine — proving that pushrod doesn’t mean slow.

Next-Level Mechanical Details

  • Drilled crankshaft oil passages: pressure-fed lubrication to the rod bearings, just like a full-size engine.
  • 7mm crankpin journals and LS-style counterweights for structural accuracy.
  • Flanged flywheel mount — no expansion sleeve shortcuts.
  • MCU digital ignition: calculates the optimal firing point in real time, replacing a mechanical distributor for cleaner combustion and stability up to 12,500rpm.
  • 3D-printed stainless steel exhaust manifold: optimized flow paths, heat-resistant, and visually authentic.
  • Integrated water pump with no exposed hoses, ready for RC drivetrain integration.

Ready for Expansion

The flywheel is pre-configured with mounting points for a centrifugal clutch or 6AT gearbox. Drop it into an RC chassis or a display setup — no custom fabrication needed.
