A new production run only starts once orders reach the factory's minimum order quantity (MOQ), and every part then takes 3 to 6 months to machine, inspect and test-run. Is this a real working V8 engine model?
Yes. The TOYAN FS-V800WGPC is a real four-stroke, 28cc gasoline V8 that runs under its own power. It is not a motor-driven display model.
Can a beginner build this V8 engine model kit?
Yes. The DIY kit comes with tools and step-by-step instructions, and the 2026 Wooden Base set adds plug-in harnesses and a video tutorial. If you would rather skip the engine build, choose Pre-Assembled.
How long does the Pre-Assembled version take to ship?
About 15 to 25 days. Each Pre-Assembled engine is put together and test-run by hand by our technicians, one at a time, so orders are built in the order they are received. The DIY Kit ships much sooner. If you need it by a certain date, email service@stirlingkit.com before ordering and we will check the current queue for you.
What fuel does this mini V8 engine run on?
92# or higher gasoline mixed with 2-stroke oil at 25:1. No separate engine oil is needed.
Is a battery included? What battery does it use?
Yes, all three complete sets include a battery. The 2026 Wooden Base set comes with a 3S 11.1V 2000mAh LiPo battery with a T-plug. The ignition and starter run on 7.4 - 12V (2S-3S LiPo). Need a spare? Get the 3S 2000mAh LiPo battery.
Is a charger included?
Yes, all three sets include a charger. The 2026 Wooden Base set comes with a B3 2S/3S LiPo balance charger (AC 100-240V input), so you can charge the battery straight out of the box.
Do I need to buy anything else to run it?
Only gasoline, 2-stroke oil and coolant water. Everything else, including the battery and charger, is in the complete set.
What scale is this V8 engine model?
1/10 scale. The engine is about 17.7 × 17.35 × 15.39cm and weighs 2400g.
Fuel: the engine is lubricated by its fuel. Mix 92# or higher gasoline with 2-stroke oil at a 25:1 ratio. No separate engine oil is needed.
Cooling: the engine has 4 coolant ports. Connect all of them to the cooling system as shown in the manual. Do not seal any ports, as this reduces cooling and can cause overheating.
